Miami Police Department Mobile Laboratory

Miami, FL compass

The Miami Police Department’s crime scene investigation vehicle was built in a walk in style body. It includes ample counter space and storage cabinets for collecting and processing evidence. It also has a toilet with a holding tank as well as an exterior shower and refrigerator. With aluminum powder coated cabinetry and solid surface counter tops, the truck has a 25,000 watt generator to power on board equipment, exterior mounted tripod light poles, roof-mounted light tower and air conditioners. Maintenance free LED interior lighting and emergency lighting and an aluminum wire raceway for future expansion are fine examples of the foresight used in this vehicle design.
