William Laird's 20ft. Freightliner MT-55 Tool Truck

William Laird's new 20ft. Freightliner MT-55 is packed with features! The all-aluminum construction features a 6.0L 308 HP gas engine, 2200 HS Allison automatic transmission with park pawl, and hydraulic brakes. On the rear of the vehicle is a single rear swing door that can be used in conjunction with the 2,000lb. all-aluminum lift gate for loading and unloading heavy inventory.

The inside has so many awesome touches to really make the interior stand out. Upon entry, there is a chrome Snap-on wrench affixed to the promo shelf with drawer. Two literature racks sit underneath this shelf as well. The entry area also features a lighted display case and soap display. ColorCore has been utilized throughout William's truck with it being used in the L-shaped workstation, repair stack, and split shelving. Gray slatwall has been installed at the workstation and houses five diagnostic cradles. The workstation also features a locking cash drawer, flip-down access for the printer, and a pull-out breadboard. The ColorCore single repair stack features an aluminum top, five storage drawers, a broken tools drawer, and a carpeted hammer rack.

Swirl plate gives the three toolbox areas an extra pop as well as additional protection from heavy inventory. A glass front refrigerator with a red "S" logo has been added by the ColorCore 5-shelf display. William has also incorporated a red air tool ladder, red socket center, bank of VersaFlex drawers, and split shelves in the rear of the vehicle as well. Chrome magnets have been added throughout this area for additional display space while lighted plexi-glass is a fun touch to add to this display area. The chrome magnets and gray slatwall have also been added to the rear door.

A 5.5 KW 120 volt Onan gas generator has been installed on a custom aluminum slide-out tray for easy access and maintenance. HVAC is handled by a 110 volt 15,000 BTU roof top air conditioning unit with Heat Pack and a 12,000 BTU gas fired furnace. DVR security has been added for extra security when the vehicle is parked.
