The Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (NJ) mobile command vehicle is built on an 18ft. Ford F59 chassis and features a Triton 6.8L V10 engine with automatic transmission. The exterior of the vehicle features LED scene lighting and curbside and rear entry doors for access into the vehicle. The rear doors have a flip-down aluminum step. A complete emergency lighting and siren package was installed as well.
Inside, there is a front conference room with fixed bench seating and a fixed conference table with durable laminate top. The lower cushions remove for underseat storage. We custom built a flip-down bench for additional seating. Custom gray powder coated aluminum cabinetry provide ample storage. Overhead cabinets feature dry erase writing surfaces. A 43" wall-mounted LED display is installed on the curbside wall in the front conference room. An HDTV antenna was also installed on the roof. There is a galley with 2.7cu. ft. refrigerator. In the rear of the vehicle are three workstations complete with stowable spider base task chairs. All interior lighting is LED. The vehicle is wired with CAT6 network wiring and jacks.
HVAC duties are handled by two low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat and a wall mount electric heater. Electric power is supplied to the vehicle by a 12kW liquid-cooled gas generator installed within one of our custom fabricated generator compartments. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects the entire AC power system.
