Union City Police Department (CA) Mobile Command Center

Built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis, this mobile command center features  two of our hand fabricated flat floor slide-outs to maximize the interior workspace. We also installed a complete vehicle leveling system to stabilize the truck on scene. Simplified setup of the truck is handled by our Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation touch screen with 3 more localized touchpads to make adjustments locally. We installed a complete emergency lighting and siren package as well as bright LED scene lighting. The vehicle also includes our Extreme Duty body storage compartments for gear storage. The exterior also has a weatherproof workstation with 32" display monitor.

Inside, the vehicle has a front conference room with fixed center table and four spider base task chairs. There are two workstations in the curbside slide out with dual monitors each and another on the streetside. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are also included throughout. The center of the truck has another workstation, the electronics rack, multi-function printer and custom aluminum cabinetry for storage. The rear room in the vehicle has another conference table, fixed bench seating and aluminum cabinets with dry erase writing surface on the overhead cabinets.

A powerful 20kW liquid generator supplies the vehicle with plenty of electric power. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects all of the installed electrical components. A 55" QLED 4K smart TV monitor is installed in the front room on the streetside wall. A 43" QLED 4K smart TV monitor is installed in the rear room. An HDMI matrix switcher allows video to be fed to any of the installed monitors easily. We also installed the customer-supplied radios. We installed for (4) custom supplied computers as well. HVAC duties are handled by three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat and three wall mounted electric heaters.
