The Hartford's Mobile Response Unit (MRU) is ready to assist adjusters in serving customers. Built on a Ford F-450, this custom dry van body includes a 6.8L Triton V10 gas engine and an electronic 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. These compact claims units can respond to any disaster to assist customers with claims.
Onboard technology helps staff process claims on board, as well as give victims a reprieve from the weather. A cash station and mobile canteen have also been added for custom comfort. Fixed bench seating with removable cushions provides additional storage space inside the vehicle. Custom-fabricated cabinets feature dry erase surfaces above the workstation area complete with a monitor and CAT-6 network jacks.
A color backup camera system assists with parking duties. To ensure the vehicle sits level while assisting customers, a vehicle leveling system has been installed. A lateral arm awning provides coverage for those working outside or entering and exiting the vehicle. To ensure the vehicle sits level on any terrain, a two-point heavy-duty vehicle leveling system has also been installed. An exterior monitor with a stereo has been added to the outside as well. Emergency lights were installed for high visibility when traveling to a scene.
