SWAT Vehicle

We designed and built two of these SWAT Counter Assault Team vehicles for a customer recently. Built on Freightliner MT-55 chassis, the SWAT trucks feature air suspension and air brakes. As you can see, the vehicles are completely blacked-out including the headlight assemblies. These SWAT trucks each have an extreme duty body storage compartment for gear storage. An Onan Commercial Quiet diesel generator supplies electric power. Additional exterior features in these SWAT trucks include a 4-camera perimeter surveillance camera system, wide rear bumper with custom flip down rear step for entry into the vehicles and dual swing out heavy duty rear doors. A complete emergency lighting and siren package was also included. Inside, the vehicles feature fixed bench seating for staff that both the bottoms and the backs open for storage. Gear cubbies are also included along with helmet shelving with power outlets in each. Ceiling-mounted grab handles are also included in the SWAT truck. At the front of the interior is a custom weapons storage cabinet, a galley with solid surface counter and ceiling mounted speakers.
