St. Charles City Police (MO) Mobile Command Center

VEHICLE OVERVIEW

Built on a Freightliner M2 106 single axle chassis, this all aluminum body mobile command center features a Cummins L9 360HP engine with an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission. Entry into the vehicle is by curbside swing out door with electric entry steps. A single in-house fabricated flat floor slide-out was integrated into the body for maximum interior workspace. A vehicle leveling system has been installed to stabilize the vehicle while deployed. Extreme Duty body storage compartments have been included for gear storage. A weatherproof exterior workstation is also integrated into the body for outside operations. A complete emergency lighting and siren package has also been installed. Our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system has been installed to simplify the deployment of the vehicle.

Inside, the mobile command center has a front conference room complete with fixed center table, flip down and fixed bench seating for staff. Two spider base task chairs are also part of the front room. A 55" high resolution display monitor is wall mounted to the front wall of the conference room. Dual 43" display monitors are mounted to the curbside wall. Another 55" display monitor is installed on the streetside wall along with a magnetic surface dry erase white board.

The center of the vehicle is home to a lavatory as well as a large electronics rack, slide-out printer tray and a workstation. An overhead microwave has been included for convenience. Custom aluminum cabinetry is utilized throughout the interior with dry erase writing surface on the overhead cabinets.

The rear work room has two workstations, each with dual 24" display monitors and a spider base task chair for each. We prewired and installed the customer communications radios as well.

HVAC duties are handled by three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units, wall mounted electric heaters and a two direct discharge furnaces. "I was very satisfied with the whole experience and process. I believe that the sales personnel and technicians are very knowledgeable and have years of institutional knowledge that shows in the execution of the unit. My questions were all ways answered immediately and if there was any reach back for additional confirmation it was always followed up with a phone call and email. The open lines of communication provided both of us the full awareness of where we were in the build process and helped eliminate unnecessary delays or unanswered questions. Everyone I encountered during my visits were always smiling and happy while working, which was great to see and experience. This is reflected in the finished product that was noticed by my staff and all others that have visited to see the new addition to our fleet."
