Sparta Community Hospital (IL) Mobile Clinic

Sparta Community Hospital of Illinois just took delivery of their new mobile clinic. Their vehicle features a Ford F59 chassis with a 7.3L V8 gasoline engine with 6-speed automatic transmission. The all aluminum body also has a 46" wide swing out wheelchair lift access door which houses a Braun electric pneumatic lift. Sparta Community Hospital's vehicle also has a full vehicle, very colorful wrap!

Inside the vehicle are dual patient rooms with included Brewer examination tables, custom fabricated aluminum cabinetry and laminate counter tops. There are dual refrigerators (medical grade and a standard grade) as well as a pressurized water system with water heater which supplies water to each patient room and the included lavatory. Each patient room also has Welch Allyn wall set medical equipment installed. Dual examination stools are also included in each patient room. The center of the vehicle has a fixed bench seat with removable cushion for underseat storage and a lap belt for staff members. We included a café-style workstation as well. The lavatory has a toilet, corner sink with water supply, paper towel and soap dispensers. Each patient room features a magnetic closure pocket door for privacy.

Electric power is supplied to the vehicle by a 12kW gasoline generator. All electric systems are protected by a full vehicle surge suppression system. HVAC duties are handled by 3 rooftop low-profile A/C units with wall thermostat and dual electric heaters. Additional equipment includes a Cradlepoint cellular router with roof mounted antennas and a power retracting awning.
