VEHICLE OVERVIEW

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services acquired this mobile command vehicle to provide emergency management, search and rescue services, law enforcement and fire service support, on scene management, training, and planning. The forty-foot vehicle features four slide-out room extensions with eight dispatch positions. Each position has dual monitors and the right hand monitor is a touch screen that controls 16 rack mounted mobile radios that are interfaced to a rack mounted radio interoperability system. There is also a 1.2 meter satellite broadband dish and satellite TV antenna on the roof, an exterior wireless access point and mast with a high performance color video camera. Also included is the LDV Intel-I-Touch™ multiplex electrical system that provides quick, safe and efficient operation of onboard components.
