Russell County Sheriff's Office (AL) Mobile Command Center & COVID Response

Dual purpose vehicle! This mobile command center and COVID response vehicle is built on a Kenworth T370 tandem axle chassis, this new civil support center for Russell County Sheriff in Alabama features a 350HP PACCAR PX-9 engine with an Allison 3000EVS automatic transmission. We integrated four of our custom in-house fabricated flat floor slide-outs to the body to maximize the interior workspace. The vehicle also has extreme duty body storage compartments. Automatic startup and shutdown is handled by out Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system (with a small screen installed in the cab area and a full size one in the rear of the vehicle). A vehicle leveling system has also been installed. A complete emergency lighting and siren package has also been installed on the vehicle. Entry into the vehicle is by curbside or rear.

Inside, the mobile command and COVID response vehicle has a front conference room with five spider base task chairs. There is fixed bench seating in the curbside slideout with underseat storage and flip down bench seating in the streetside slide out. The front wall has a 65" display monitor and custom aluminum storage cabinets. Each front slide out features a 50" high resolution display monitor and dual magnetic surface dry erase white boards. A localized Intel-I-Touch touchpad has also been included to control lighting and HVAC directly in the room. Counter tops are solid surface.

The center of the vehicle features a galley with microwave, refrigerator and Keurig® coffee maker. There is also a lavatory with pressurized water supply. A large electronics rack has been included to house all of the vehicle's equipment. A printer on a slide-out tray has also been installed.

The rear room in the vehicle is designed for COVID response and vaccination administration with two fixed bench seats for patients. The room features three workstations, each with a 32" high resolution display monitor and two flip down bench seats for staff. There is a work area with sink, 43" high resolution display monitor and magnetic surface dry erase white boards. There is also a stowable center work table with pedestal legs in two different heights. The vehicle has been prewired for customer supplied radios as well.
