Riverside County Sheriff of California came to LDV for 3 mobile command centers! Each truck is built on a Freightliner M2 106 conventional cab chassis with Cummins L9 350HP diesel engine with Allison 3000EVS automatic transmission. We integrated four of our custom fabricated flat floor slide-outs in each truck to maximize the available interior workspaces. Each truck features a weatherproof exterior monitor compartment and a charging station. Entry into the vehicles is by pull out stair cassette on the curbside or rear doors. There is a lavatory with a flip down step system complete with pressurized water supply system. We installed a non-locking heavy duty rear mast complete with dome network IP surveillance camera system on each vehicle. Perimeter cameras are also installed. A complete emergency lighting and siren package is also included. LDV's exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation touchscreens are installed in the cab and vehicle interior to get the truck deployed quickly on scene. HDTV antennas are also installed.
Inside the command centers are a front collaboration/workroom with flip down bench seating and a fixed center conference table. A 65" Newline TruTouch touchpanel is installed on the front wall. Counter surfaces are solid surface for durability. Custom aluminum cabinets with dry erase writing surface are included in each vehicle as well. Flip down bench seating with stowable work tables are in the streetside slide-outs. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are included throughout. The center of the vehicle features a large white board and the electronics rack. A weather station has also been included in each truck.
The rear of the vehicle features a work room with spider base task chairs. High resolution display monitors and customer-supplied computers and communications radios are also installed. There is a stowable table in this are as well.
Lastly, there is a small room at the rear of the vehicle with two workstations. Pull out pencil trays are installed at the workstations. HVAC duties are handled by 3 ducted low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat and 3 electric wall mount heaters. CAT6 network wiring and jacks are utilized throughout each vehicle interior.
