Redding Police Department (CA) Mobile Command Center

Built on a Freightliner forward control chassis MT-55, the Redding Police Department's new mobile command center features several LDV exclusive options. We integrated two of our custom fabricated flat floor slide-outs to maximize the interior workspace. We also installed a weatherproof exterior workstation on the curbside. There is a non-locking pneumatic mast complete with dome network IP camera and a digital video recorder. The mobile command center is equipped with vehicle leveling. The vehicle also features integrated Extreme Duty body storage compartments. The mobile command center is easy to set up on scene thanks to our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation touchscreen.

Inside, the vehicle has a front conference room complete with spider base task chairs, a center collaboration table and flip-down bench seating. A 50" LED monitor is installed on the curbside slide-out via wall bracket and can show any number of different video sources. The center of the vehicle features a galley and lavatory with pressurized water system. We also installed an electronics rack. We also installed a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Custom aluminum cabinets have also been installed. The rear work room has two workstations with high resolution display monitors and a café style work area on the street side.
