Portsmouth Police Department chose a Ford E-450 Cutaway chassis for their emergency equipment vehicle. This mobile crime lab is outfitted with custom fabricated aluminum cabinets with drawers, allowing for maximum storage. Adjustable shelves can create infinite configurations, allowing the Portsmouth PD to reconfigure as needed. Portsmouth also chose to include nylon mesh for their shelves to keep equipment secure.  A weapons cabinet with lockable roll-up door is also integrated into the interior. The exterior includes twin 24" swing rear doors, a 15" wide roof access ladder, and 4 aluminum ladder racks on the roof of the vehicle.
