This mobile crime lab is built on a Ford F-550 4X2 gas chassis with a 7.3L V8 engine with a 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission. The body is a custom all aluminum dry van body that includes a complete emergency lighting and siren package and bright LED scene lighting. Entry into the vehicle is by curbside entry door or via custom fabricated flip down step at the rear. We built and added extreme duty body storage boxes to the truck as well for gear. Dual tripod lights are included for night deployments.

Inside, the vehicle has a single workstation with a spider base task chair. There is a stainless work surface and custom fabricated aluminum cabinetry as well. The customer needed lots of storage space so we added a bank of gear storage with adjustable shelving. We also wall-mounted a magnetic surface dry erase white board. A bank of drawers is also included. A lavatory with dry flush toilet is included along with a sink.

Additional features include: Complete graphics package, AC and DC powered refrigerator and an electric galley water system. The HVAC system consists of a single low profile rooftop A/C unit with thermostat. A 25kW liquid-cooled gas generator is also installed to supply the vehicle with plenty of electric power.
