Pinellas County Sheriff in Florida just took delivery of their awesome new mobile command center. The vehicle features several of our industry exclusive features including: four of our in-house fabricated flat-floor slide outs, our Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation touchscreen system that simplifies the start-up and shutdown of the truck, dual weatherproof exterior workstations and our extreme duty body storage compartments.
The Intel-I-Touch™ system allows the user to get the vehicle set-up on scene in minutes with our easy to navigate menus. Deploy the slide-outs, start/stop the generator, control HVAC systems, lighting and more. The truck also features a front conference room with two workstations and a center conference table made from solid surface. Spider base task chairs (15 in total) are utilized for their mobility and comfort inside the vehicle. We custom made flip-down bench seating for additional deputies that need to sit in on the discussion. A 75" 4K smart TV monitor at the front wall can be used to display a variety of video sources, look up weather, maps and more. Custom aluminum cabinetry is also included in the design with dry erase writing surface on the upper cabinets. The truck also features a lavatory with pressurized water system that is accessed from the outside on the streetside of the truck. There is a galley also with microwave, refrigerator and Keurig® coffee maker. A large closet was included in this area as well. Dual electronics racks house all of the communications and electronics equipment.
The rear of the vehicle features workstations with dual monitors, customer-supplied communications radios and a stowable center collaboration table. We custom built flush magnetic closure pocket doors for privacy. CAT6 network wiring and jacks are utilized throughout the vehicle. There is also a cell phone booster system installed. 15 22" display monitors are used at the interior workstations for staff and hooked to 9 customer supplied computers. Dual network synchronized clocks are installed in both the front and rear rooms inside the vehicle.
On the outside, the mobile command center has dual wind speed sensing, lateral arm power retractable awnings. We integrated dual weatherproof exterior workstations with flip-down work surfaces to the slide-out. A vehicle leveling system was installed as well to stabilize the big truck once deployed on scene. Our extreme duty body storage compartments were integrated into the aluminum body to provide additional storage for gear. A non-locking telescoping mast with dual dome network IP cameras were also installed. Video sources can be displayed on any of the monitors in the vehicle with a video matrix switcher. A PA system with exterior speakers and a microphone are included as well. A rooftop satellite antenna is installed.
