Pete Knowlton's 22ft. Freightliner MT-55 tool truck is so unique! Pete's 22ft. Freightliner MT-55 features a 6.7L Cummins engine, 2200HS Allison automatic transmission with park pawl, air brakes & air suspension. The all-aluminum construction also features a chrome bumper and chrome heated power mirrors. A 2,000lb. all-aluminum liftgate has also been installed on the rear, and includes an auto open/close feature.
The inside features a promo shelf in the driver's area with a lighted display case underneath. The double 24" wide repair stacks with ColorCore face-frame serves as the desk area and includes a pull-out writing surface. Aluminum countertops have been used throughout for durability. A ColorCore knife display, carpeted straight hammer rack, slide-out power tool display drawer, and dual socket centers all provide display space for inventory along with the 5-shelf interior system.
Smooth plate has been used in the toolbox areas which measure 62" and 46". HVAC is handled by a 53,000 BTU engine driven A/C, a 15,000 BTU roof top A/C unit with heat pack, and 34,000 BTU hot water heater with shut off valves.
