The Pasadena Police of California's mobile command center is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and features an all aluminum body construction with dual LDV-fabricated flat floor slide-outs. The vehicle is powered by a CUMMINS B6.7L diesel engine with 300HP and has an Allison transmission. The vehicle is simple to deploy thanks to our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system touchscreens. We integrated a keyless entry system, complete emergency lighting and siren package and bright LED scene lighting as well. A Zone Defense color backup camera system has also been installed to ease parking maneuvers. We included blackout curtains for all cab area windows as well. We added several of our Extreme Duty body storage compartments to the truck as well. A vehicle leveling system has been integrated to stabilize the command center during deployments. An Extron HDMI Matrix Switcher has been installed to handle video signal distribution within the vehicle. A non-locking rear telescoping mast has 3 dome network IP cameras installed for surveillance. A large weatherproof exterior workstation has been fabricated and integrated into the body and houses a 55" Sunbrite display monitor. A Winegard Slimline auto acquire satellite system has also been installed. Inside the vehicle, there is a spacious front conference room with fixed bench seating and a center table. The conference table features a powder coated finish for note taking and durability. Three spider base task chairs have been included for staff. The curbside wall has a large Smart Technologies collaboration monitor (65"). The streetside wall has dual 43" display monitors. We added magnetic surface dry erase white boards as well. The vehicle was prewired and we installed the customer's communication radios. The center of the vehicle features two large electronics racks for the installed equipment. A large storage closet with shelving has also been included. A second Intel-I-Touch touch panel is installed above the curbside entry door along with a handheld radio charger next to a large galley with microwave, Keurig™ coffee maker and refrigerator. The galley in the command center also has a hand sanitizing station. A multi-function printer on a slide out tray is included. The rear work room in the command center has three workstations, each with a spider base task chair. Each workstation features four 24" display monitors and dual communication radios. Dual 32" display monitors have been wall mounted to the rear wall. The cabinetry throughout the vehicle is durable powder coated aluminum and the upper cabinets feature dry erase writing surface. HVAC duties are handled by three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units with thermostat, wall mounted electric heaters (3) and a rooftop power roof ventilator. A powerful 25kW liquid-cooled diesel generator has been installed to supply the mobile command center with plenty of electric power. Installed electronics are protected by a full vehicle surge suppression system.

"I was very satisfied with the whole experience and process. I believe that the sales personnel and technicians are very knowledgeable and have years of institutional knowledge that shows in the execution of the unit. My questions were all ways answered immediately and if there was any reach back for additional confirmation it was always followed up with a phone call and email. The open lines of communication provided both of us the full awareness of where we were in the build process and helped eliminate unnecessary delays or unanswered questions. Everyone I encountered during my visits were always smiling and happy while working, which was great to see and experience. This is reflected in the finished product that was noticed by my staff and all others that have visited to see the new addition to our fleet."

The best feature of the vehicle is the flush floor slide-out in the front of the vehicle. It provides a very functional work area and always receives favorable comments.
