Paramus Emergency Management selected a Freightliner M2 as the platform for their 30' cab chassis mobile command center. Paramus chose to integrate LDV’s Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system into their command center to automatic startup and shutdown procedures as well as deploying features such as awnings, generators, lights, and more. The vehicle also includes three flat-floor slide-out rooms to maximize the interior space of the vehicle.
This unique layout includes a front conference area with seating for up to fourteen, multiple monitors and dry erase boards. In the center is a galley kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. It also includes an electronics rack and custom aluminum cabinet. Another area with four workstations is also found in the center with task chairs, monitors, network jacks, custom cabinets, and printer on a slide-out tray. In the rear of the vehicle are two additional workstations
On the exterior is a weatherproof workstation with TV monitor, telephone, communications radio, power outlets, and network jacks. A 17’ electric awning has been installed to provide coverage for those using the exterior workstation or entering and exiting the vehicle. A set of pull-out aluminum stairs is housed in a narrow profile cassette underneath the rear entry door. Emergency and scene lights have been installed around the exterior of the vehicle.
