VEHICLE OVERVIEW

This dive rescue vehicle for Palatine Fire Department is built on a Ford F59 chassis with a Triton V-10 (gasoline) engine and and 5-speed TorqFlight transmission. The dive rescue vehicle is built from an all aluminum step van body features a sliding passenger entry door (no driver's door) with sliding windows, Zone Defense color back-up camera system, fixed bench seating with removable cushions for under-seat storage, custom aluminum cabinetry with LED under cabinet lighting, two magnetic dry erase white boards, aluminum box pan shelves with mesh netting with thumb lock fasteners for gear storage and more. The dive rescue vehicle also features a custom aluminum SCUBA bottle rack to hold 6 aluminum or steel 80 cubic ft. bottles. The dive rescue vehicle features a complete emergency lighting and siren package as well as super bright LED scene lighting for night operations. The exterior of the dive rescue vehicle also has two custom roll-up door storage compartments for quick and convenient gear access that have been painted body color.
