Oneida Police Department choose to build their command center with a 2023 Ford F-550 4×4 chassis with a 7.3 gas engine and a 10-speed transmission. The vehicle features a long custom all aluminum dry van body with our in-house fabricated extreme duty body storage compartments added for gear storage. One entry to the vehicle is on street side with an electric step and another is a rear door with a flip down step. A complete emergency lighting and siren package has been installed along with bright LED scene lighting.

The cab features a custom fabricated console with a siren controller, customer supplied radio, and more. Inside, the command center has three workstations each with a spider base task chair and a high resolution display monitor. Radio prewire has been installed. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinetry with dry erase writing surface has been installed throughout. A magnetic soft close pocket door separates the front work room from the rear work room. A weapons cabinet and a closet with adjustable shelves have been added. We also built and installed wall mounted magnetic dry erase white boards. A printer has been installed on a slide out tray for easy access. An electronics rack and refrigerator have been added.

A low profile rooftop A/C unit keeps the mobile command center cool in the summer. A gas fired heater is also installed and a powerful AC generator supplies plenty of electric power to the vehicle.
