The recent mobile command center built for the Office of the Delaware State Fire Marshal features a Ford F59 chassis with an all aluminum body, 7.3L V8 gasoline engine and a six speed TorqShift automatic transmission. The vehicle features a color backup camera system and a complete emergency lighting and siren package. One of the exterior compartments houses a hose cord reel and a flip down rear step bumper. Inside, the vehicle has storage cabinetry and fixed shelving. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are also included in the interior. Fixed bench seating provides space for staff. We also included a refrigerator. A 30-gallon fresh water tank with 5.3 GPM water pump has also been installed. A 20K lumen telescoping light tower provides illumination for night operations. There are also dual LED flood light tripods.
The vehicle is equipped with a 7kW generator housed within a custom fabricated generator compartment. A full vehicle surge suppression system has also been installed. An Axis 1080p IP camera system provides situational awareness around the vehicle. An HDTV antenna has also been installed. We prewired the vehicle for communications radios as well. A Dometic lateral arm awning provides shade when needed.
