North Collier Fire Rescue (FL) Dive Vehicle

This dive vehicle for North Collier Fire Rescue of Florida features a Ford F59 chassis and an all aluminum body. It is powered by a 7.3L V8 gas engine and has a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. We installed a custom flip down rear step for easy entry into the vehicle as well. A 10,000lb winch has also been installed. A color backup camera system has also been installed to ease parking maneuvers. Extreme duty body storage compartments are also included. Bright LED scene lighting is also installed for night operations.

Inside, the dive vehicle has floor drains for the dive team. We installed a dive gear storage area with heavy duty rod for hanging. There is a fixed shelf above for storage. Adjustable box pan shelving is also included with mesh cargo netting to secure items during transport. Scuba tank storage for nine bottles is included. There is also upright tank storage with room for BC and regulators.

HVAC duties are handled by a single low profile rooftop A/C unit. A powerful inverter/charger keeps the batteries charged up. A manual horizontal arm awning has been installed to provide shade.
