The customer selected LDV to build two identical units for them. The trucks are built on Ford F-550 regular cab 4×4 single rear axle chassis and have 7.3L V8 gas engines with 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmissions. The body of each truck features our Extreme Duty body storage boxes, swing out curbside entry door and a flip down step at the rear bumper. We added a complete emergency lighting and siren package along with bright LED scene lighting.
The interior features two workstations and one spider base task chair. We added a fixed bench seat to each truck and commercial grade aluminum cabinetry for gear storage. Two wall mounted 32″ display monitors are also included. A segregated rear area in the back of the truck has specialized gear storage, LED tripod lights, adjustable shelving, wall-mounted spare tire and E-track for customer scales.
Additional features include: One low profile rooftop A/C unit, two wall mount heaters, 7kW EFI generator, cell booster kit and prewire for customer’s communications radios.
