New Jersey Department of Corrections Special Ops Group

This recent build was just completed for the New Jersey Department of Corrections Special Operations Group. The mobile command center is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and features a CUMMINS B6.7L diesel engine with 260HP and an Allison 2200 EVS automatic transmission. The all aluminum body has an LDV-fabricated flat floor slide-out integrated for additional interior workspace. The vehicle set up is simplified thanks to our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system. Localized Intel-I-Touch touchpads are also included. We custom fabricated a weatherproof exterior workstation which houses a high resolution display monitor as well. The body of the command center features extreme duty body storage compartments for additional gear storage. A complete emergency lighting and siren package has also been installed.

Inside, the command center has a front conference and collaboration room complete with fixed table with fold down leaf. Fixed bench seating is also part of the interior design. Flip down bench seating is included in the curbside slideout. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are also included. The center of the vehicle has a soft close magnetic pocket door for privacy, galley kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and microwave. A large electronics rack and a slide out printer tray are also included in the command center. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets are utilized throughout for gear storage, Overhead cabinets have dry erase writing surface.

The rear room in the vehicle has four workstations with high resolution display monitors. Three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units keep the interior cool. A 20kW liquid cooled diesel generator provides plenty of electric power. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects the vehicle's electrical components.
