NAVFAC Marianas Guam Bomb/EOD Vehicle

NAVFAC Marianas Guam selected LDV to build this exceptional Bomb/EOD vehicle. The vehicle is built on a Freightliner M2 conventional crew cab chassis with all aluminum body construction. We installed a complete emergency lighting and siren package along with bright LED scene lights. The vehicle is also equipped with swing out door and a folding robot ramp. The vehicle is also equipped with a leveling system and our Extreme Duty body storage compartments. We also installed a non-locking telescoping pneumatic mast complete with dome network IP camera for surveillance.

Inside, the vehicle has two workstations with spider base task chairs for staff members. There is a galley with microwave and refrigerator for convenience. For gear storage, there are custom fabricated aluminum cabinets with dry erase writing surface on the overhead cabinets. Under cabinet LED lighting is also included. There is also a fixed bench seat and adjustable box pan shelving for gear storage. Mesh cargo netting is utilized to secure gear during transport. The rear area of the vehicle houses a bomb disposal robot.

Electric power is supplied to the vehicle by an Onan Commercial Quiet generator which is installed in a custom fabricated generator housing. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects all vehicle electronics.
