Slam dunk! Michael Jordan's new 22ft. Freightliner MT-55 tool truck features a set-back entry door, chrome wrench handle, chrome bumper, and chrome heated power mirrors. The tool truck is powered by a Cummins 6.7L diesel engine and also features a 2200 HS Allison automatic transmission with park pawl, air brakes, and an air suspension.
A ColorCore L-shaped workstation provides a dedicated space for Michael to conduct business. The workstation features a 22" wide drawer stack, lockable cash drawer, flip-down printer access, small shelf under the desk, and a wastebasket. On the side of the workstation, a lighted knife case has also been added. Next to this is the 22" wide single repair stack with ColorCore face-frame which also features a jack display installed on its side. It also features a carpeted hammer rack above the drawer stack.
There are three toolbox areas (88", 60", 44") with smooth plate added to the floor for additional protection. Above the 44" toolbox area are three removable ColorCore split shelves. Ample e-track has been used throughout the vehicle for multiple product displays, which affords Michael the flexibility to reconfigure them as needed down the road. At the rear of the vehicle is LDV's 5-shelf display, a bank of VersaFlex product drawers, and overstock bins for additional storage.
The single rear door can be used in conjunction with the 2,000lb. auto open/close all-aluminum lift gate with integrated cart stop. HVAC is handled by a 53,000 BTU engine-driven A/C unit with a rooftop mounted condensor. Prep for a rooftop 110 volt A/C unit, fuel fired furnace, and LP heat has also been completed.
