Matt Limpus’s 22ft. Freightliner MT-55 Tool Truck

This new tool truck for Matt Limpus was built on a 22ft. Freightliner MT-55. Powered by a 6.7L 240HP Cummins engine and 2200 HS Allison automatic transmission, the tool truck also features air brakes and air suspension. This all-aluminum construction is outfitted with chrome heated power mirrors, a chrome bumper, and single rear swing door. This swing door works well with the 2,000lb. all-aluminum auto open/close lift gate. Aluminum weather resistant storage boxes have also been added to the exterior for additional storage space.

Inside, the 22″ wide single repair stack includes maple face-framing with a natural stain. This maple face-framing is found throughout the rest of the interior including the L-shaped workstation, promo shelves, drawers, and slide-out pages. Displays in the vehicle include a maple catalog display, maple hand cleaner display, a carpeted hammer display, and cordless power tool display. A broken tools chute has been added for easy storage as well.

To assist with parking duties, a color back-up camera has been mounted on the rear of the vehicle. HVAC is handled by a 53,000 BTU engine driven air conditioner, 110 volt 13,500 BTU roof top air conditioner, and a 12,000 BTU diesel fired furnace.
