Massachusetts State Police Mobile Command/HNT Vehicle

We recently completed this mobile command center/HNT vehicle for the Massachusetts State Police. The vehicle is built on a Ford F-550 4x4 chassis and features a 6.7L PowerStroke diesel engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Entry into the vehicle is by curbside swing out door or rear entry door. The body features a complete emergency lighting and siren package along with bright LED scene lighting. Extreme Duty body storage compartments are also installed for gear storage.

The interior features a front work room with three workstations, each with a spider base task chair. Custom aluminum cabinetry has also been installed. Overhead cabinets feature dry erase writing surface. Work surfaces are durable laminate. A large storage cabinet is installed in the center of the vehicle.

The rear conference room has a stowable center table and fixed bench seating for staff. A wall mounted 43" high resolution display monitor has also been installed on the curbside. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards offer convenience. A magnetic soft-close pocket door provides privacy.

HVAC duties are handled by two low-profile rooftop A/C units and electric wall mount heaters. A direct discharge furnace is also included. An Onan Commercial Quiet 12kW diesel generator in a custom fabricated housing supplies plenty of electric power to the vehicle. A full vehicle surge suppression system has been installed to protect all of the vehicle's electronics.
