Mark Pritchett's Kenworth T270 Elite tool truck is a beauty! This 22ft. all-aluminum construction is powered by a PACCAR PX-7 engine, Allison 2500HS transmission, and air brakes and air suspension.
A ColorCore L-shaped workstation with a 24" drawer stack is found at the front of the vehicle. The area also features a small shelf under the desktop, a trash can, and LED lighted knife display on the side of the workstation. A pull-out writing surface has been integrated into the workstation and black slat wall has also been added to this area to optimize inventory storage. The tool truck also features a double 22" repair stack with ColorCore faced drawers. Above the repair stack is a carpeted hammer rack that has been installed horizontally with pegboard underneath.
Three of LDV's sliding displays with various accessories can be found above one of the three toolbox areas. E-track is found in the other toolbox areas, providing flexibility if Mark should ever need to reconfigure his displays. The rest of the tool truck features LDV's VersaFlex interior system and 5-shelf interior display. Overstock bins can be found lining the floor of these shelving displays as well. A Snap-on refrigerator has also been integrated into the driver side promo shelving as well.
A 2,000lb. all-aluminum lift gate with an integrated cart stop has been added to the back for simplified loading and unloading of inventory. To keep things cool a 53,000 BTU engine-driven air conditioner has been installed while prep for a rooftop A/C unit has also been done. A 34,000 BTU hot water heater provides heat to the vehicle as well. LED lights and scene lights have been integrated to the vehicle's exterior to keep it illuminated even during the evening. Mark did an impeccable job of making sure that his tool truck was stocked with tons of displays for his inventory!
