Madison County Health Department of Indiana just took delivery of this new medical outreach/COVID-19 response vehicle. Built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis, the medical vehicle features an all aluminum body with an LDV-fabricated flat floor slide-out. We installed a vehicle leveling system to stabilize the vehicle while set-up. The vehicle is also equipped with our extreme duty body storage compartments. You will also notice the colorful wrap and the exterior awning which has been installed to the curbside. Bright LED scene lighting has also been installed. Accessibility into the vehicle is provided by a Braun Century 2 Series electric-hydraulic wheelchair lift.
Inside the COVID-19 response/medical vehicle you will find a fixed bench seat and galley in the front of the interior. Custom powder coated aluminum cabinets have also been included. Solid surface counter tops are installed throughout. Magnetic closure pocket doors with bright blue powder coat are a nice accent in to the interior. The next room is a blood draw/vaccination room with a Brewer blood draw chair and a stainless steel sink. There are also three work areas for staff. Welch Allyn medical diagnostics equipment is also installed.
The center of the vehicle features a custom fixed bench seat waiting area with seating for three and another work area for a staff member with included caster base task stool. An additional refrigerator and a COVID-19 vaccination safe medical freezer have been installed.
The rear room features the slide-out and a patient exam table with cast base task stool. There is another sink and plenty of storage thanks to the custom aluminum cabinetry.
