Louisiana Workforce Commission just took delivery of this new mobile workforce vehicle. Built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis, the vehicle features a Cummins B6.7L diesel engine with 260HP and an Allison 2200HS automatic transmission. The vehicle is also equipped with rear air suspension. Louisiana Workforce Commission went with two of our custom fabricated flat-floor slide-outs to increase the interior workspace. The all aluminum vehicle body has a 46" wide swing-out rear door for deployment of the Braun Century Series electric hydraulic wheelchair lift. The exterior of the vehicle features bright LED scene lighting and several of our extreme duty body storage compartments. A custom fabricated weatherproof exterior workstation is integrated into the body which houses a 49" QLED monitor.
Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a Garmin® dēzl 780 LMT-S navigation system with 7" dash in the dash. The front cab area is separated by one of our custom fabricated magnetic closure flush pocket doors. There are blackout curtains for all cab-area windows as well. In the rear of the vehicle is a lavatory with pressurized water system. The wheelchair lift is also installed in this area. A total of 12 workstations are on board with pneumatic task chairs at each station. Chairs are secured during transport with buckled straps. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets are included with LED under cabinet lighting. A galley was included in the design complete with microwave, refrigerator and a Keurig™ coffee maker. Counter tops are durable laminate. A 49" QLED monitor is included. We also installed 13 customer-supplied Dell Dell computers with monitors on wall mounts at each workstation. There is also a wireless microphone system in the vehicle.
A 20kW liquid-cooled diesel generator supplies electric power to the vehicle. All systems are protected by a full vehicle surge suppression system. Four low-profile ducted A/C units with wall thermostat keeps the interior cool in the summer.
