Los Alamos National Lab (NM) Mobile Command Center

This mobile command center was recently completed for Los Alamos National Lab of New Mexico. The vehicle is equipped with a CUMMINS B6.7L diesel engine with an automatic transmissions. We custom fabricated a single flat floor slide-out for more space in the front room. Our Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system handles deploying the vehicle quickly on scene. The truck is also equipped with a vehicle leveling system. Extreme duty body storage compartments have also been integrated into the body. A complete emergency lighting and siren package is also included.

Inside, the mobile command center features a front conference room with a fixed table and fold down leaf. Three spider base task chairs along with a fixed bench and flip-down bench seat are also included. A large magnetic surface dry erase white board has been included on the streetside wall. Magnetic closure pocket doors provide privacy.

The center of the vehicle is home to the electronics rack. There is also a slide out printer tray and a communications closet. We also included a galley complete with microwave and refrigerator. There is also a Keurig® coffee maker. The rear room has four workstations with spider base task chairs and custom aluminum cabinetry. Three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat keep the interior cool, Dual wall mount electric heaters have also been included. A PowerTech 20kW diesel generator supplies electric power to the vehicle. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects all of the electronics equipment.
