Longmont Department of Public Safety (CO) Bomb Disposal/EOD Trailer

Longmont Department of Public Safety in Colorado just took delivery of their new 37-foot EOD trailer. This custom trailer features two slide out extensions to maximize the available interior workspace as well as a weatherproof exterior workstation that houses a 43" LED monitor. The trailer is also equipped with a leveling system to stabilize it while deployed. On the exterior, we installed a complete emergency lighting package as well as bright LED scene lights for after hours operations. Exterior storage compartments provide additional room for gear. Interior features include a wheelchair lift, rear robot storage area and adjustable aluminum box pan shelves. There are five workstations, each with a 32" LED TV monitor. Spider base task chairs are provided. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets offer room for equipment inside the trailer. Cargo netting secures the customer's gear during transport. Overhead cabinets feature dry erase writing surfaces. There is a galley complete with 2.7 cubic foot refrigerator. Counter top surfaces are durable laminate and a stainless steel counter top is also included. There is a hybrid 4-channel DVR recorder installed with 4K HDMI matrix switcher. The video feed from the robot or the dome network IP camera can be fed to any monitor in the trailer. HVAC duties are handled by dual low profile A/C units with wall thermostat and two wall mount electric heaters.
