Built on a Peterbilt 579 tandem axle chassis, the Logistics Health Mobile Medical Vehicle features a custom all aluminum dry van body with curbside and rear entry doors into the interior. There is also a wheelchair access door with a Braun Century Series wheelchair lift installed. Two sets of pull out stair cassettes are integrated into the body. We also custom fabricated our Extreme Duty body storage compartments and integrated those into the body. The vehicle also has VersaTie track (airline type track) recessed into the floor with heavy duty tie down rings. We also included heavy duty ratcheting tie down straps.
Inside, the floor plan includes three rooms: A front work room, center waiting area with lavatory and a rear patient room complete with audio testing booth. The wheelchair lift is installed in the center room area. Magnetic closure pocket doors are utilized for privacy. There is a fixed bench seat for a patient. The lavatory has a dry flush toilet and sink. We included a small electronics rack to house Logistic Health's equipment. The rear work room has an audio booth, workstation with medical stool and custom aluminum cabinetry. Overhead cabinets have dry erase writing surface.
Electric power is supplied by an Onan Commercial Quiet 12kW diesel generator. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects the electrical equipment. HVAC duties are handled by 3 ducted low profile A/C units with wall thermostat and a wall mounted electric heater. There are also two direct discharge diesel-fired furnaces. The vehicle is also equipped with shore power.
We prewired the vehicle for customer installed X-ray equipment and an examination table. The truck also has a vehicle leveling system installed.
