Large EOD Response Vehicle – Cab Chassis

This large EOD Response Vehicle is built on a Freightliner M2 conventional crew cab chassis. The vehicle features a robust four door cab which features a custom console for different controls. An electronics rack has been added for storing of equiment. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets include dry erase on overhead doors. An audio and video system with multiple LED TVs and digital video recorder has been installed. Mulitple adjustable aluminum box pan shelves provide storage for gear while web netting has been used to keep gear safe during transport. At the rear is a robot ramp and storage for the police service’s robot.

A 12kW commercial diesel generator provides electric power to the vehicle when needed. Exterior storage compartments provide additional storage space. Whelen emergency lights and scene lights have been added to the exterior as well. Two telescoping light poles are stored on the rear of the vehicle for easy deployment when at a scene.

A low-profile air condtioner with thermostat and a 12,000-16,000 Btu/hr direct discharge diesel-fired furnace. For roof access, a Zico Quic-Ladder has been installed on the rear. The exterior also features a 15ft. electric awning, providing coverage for those entering or exiting the vehicle through the curbside entry door.
