City of Lake Geneva (WI) Mobile Command Center

The City of Lake Geneva (WI) just took delivery of this mobile command center. The mobile command center is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and has a CUMMINS B6.7L diesel engine with an Allison 2200 EVS automatic transmission. The vehicle has one of our custom fabricated flat floor slide-outs added for additional interior workspace. Simplified setup of the vehicle on scene is handled by our Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation touchpanel. The command center also has extreme duty body storage compartments and one of our weatherproof exterior workstations. The exterior workstation houses a 50" high resolution display monitor. We added a non-locking rear mounted pneumatic mast with dual dome network IP cameras for surveillance.

Inside the command center is a front conference room with center collaboration table and fixed bench seating. We integrated flip down bench seats to the curbside wall in the slide out. Dual 50" display monitors are wall mounted. A large magnetic surface dry erase white board was also included. The center of the vehicle is home to a large electronics rack with room for future electronics gear additions and a galley with microwave and refrigerator. Laminate counter tops are utilized throughout. We also installed a lavatory with incinolet toilet and a waste basket. The rear room inside the vehicle has four workstations with spider base task chairs. The rear facing workstations have dual 24" monitors while the front facing stations have single 24" monitors. Each side wall has dual 24" monitors as well. Custom aluminum cabinets with dry erase writing surface provide storage for gear.

A powerful 20kW diesel generator supplies electric power. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects the electrical equipment. Three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat keep the interior cool. Dual diesel fired furnaces supply heat to the interior when needed. CAT6 network wiring and jacks is installed throughout. We installed a complete emergency lighting and siren package as well as bright LED scene lighting.
