Kyle De Santis' 22ft. Freightliner MT-55 Tool Truck

Kyle just took delivery of his new 22-foot MT-55. The 260HP Cummins diesel-powered truck has a GVWR of 26,000 pounds and features a set-back side entry door. A 7kW Onan commercial diesel generator provides electric power to the store. Two 60" body storage compartments were integrated into the body. Dual low profile rooftop-mounted  A/C units with thermostat tackle the cooling duties. He can haul three toolboxes (87", 62" and 42") and has additional flexibility with the use of a mobile retail center in the small toolbox space. His truck features our ColorCore interior with VersaFlex product display drawers, an L-shaped desk, swirl plate floor protectors in the toolbox areas, a ladder air tool display, magnet rails in the product display drawers and a Snap-on logo "S" refrigerator. The desk has a hidden counter extension for additional workspace. A custom hammer rack was built and integrated in the area above the refrigerator. Overstock drawers provide additional tool storage capacity. Kyle elected to include gray slatwall for product display flexibility as well. A custom hand soap display above the entry door was also integrated. Kyle also chose three LDV product displays: a Cordless Tool Display, Sunglasses Display and a Knife Display.
