Josh Burnett chose LDV to create his new 20ft. mobile tool store! Built on a Freightliner MT-55, it is powered by a Cummins 6.7L engine and features a 2200 HS Allison automatic transmission, air brakes, and an air suspension. The rear of the tool truck has been outfitted with a 2,000lb. auto open/close lift gate that makes loading and unloading of heavy inventory a snap.
A ColorCore workstation provides a dedicated work space for Josh and features a compressed air test line, three drawers, and a flip-down drawer that provides easy access to a printer. Across from the workstation is a 22" wide single repair stack with ColorCore face-frame, a carpeted straight hammer rack display, and five drawer stack with a brokens bin as well. E-track has been used throughout the vehicle which makes reconfiguring the multiple LDV product displays a snap down the road. Smooth plate lines the bottoms of the three toolbox areas (90", 62", 42") for added protection. LDV's 5-shelf interior and VersaFlex interior system provide plenty of storage and display space while affording Josh the ability to adjust them as needed.
An alarm system and security gate provide protection while the truck is parked. To assist with parking duties, a color back-up camera system has been installed. HVAC is handled by a 53,000 BTU engine driven A/C with rooftop mounted condensor and 110 volt 15,000 BTU roof top A/C with Heat Pack. Prep has also been completed for a fuel fired furnace and LP heat. LED lights have also been incorporated throughout the interior and exterior of the vehicle as well.
