Jake Brandenburg’s 24ft. Freightliner M2 Tool Truck
This new 24ft. Freightliner M2 tool truck is powered by a 6.7L 300HP Cummins engine, Allison 2500 HS automatic transmission, air brakes, and an air suspension with a manual dump valve. The all-aluminum construction features a set-back entry door with a fixed window, 6″ chrome exhaust stacks with flat tips, Grover air horns, and a 2,000lb. all-aluminum auto open/close lift gate.
Inside is LDV’s 5-shelf interior with ColorCore faced shelves and black fixed stanchion supports. Three overstock storage drawers are located underneath a bank of VersaFlex drawers as well for additional storage space. Displays inside the vehicle include a red socket center, pry bar display, horizontal carpeted hammer display, air tool ladder, slatwall diagnostic cradles, and a jack display.
HVAC is handled by a 53,000 BTU engine driven air conditioner, a 15,000 BTU roof top air conditioner with heat pack, and a 12,000 BTU diesel fired furnace. The steps to the store area of the vehicle also include two steps with removable clean out trays, making it easy to clean out any salt, dirt, or other grime that makes its way onto the vehicle.
