Jacksonville & Morgan EM (IL) Mobile Command Trailer

Jacksonville & Morgan EM in Illinois chose LDV to create their new mobile command trailer. The aluminum Icon enclosed trailer hosts a 10kW quiet diesel generator that has been installed in its own compartment at the front of the trailer. HVAC is handled by three 13.5 BTU A/C units with Heatstrips, and two baseboard heaters with thermostats. Providing access to the roof is an access ladder that has also been installed at the front of the trailer.

Inside, there are two workstations located at the front of the trailer with overhead cabinets, a porcelain dry erase board, spider-base chair, and a shared stack of cabinets between them. Pre-wire and installation provisions have been made for communications radios and a customer-supplied 4G router as well. The partition wall includes a pocket door to provide privacy when needed. Laminate countertops have been used throughout the trailer for visibility.

At the rear of the trailer is a conference area with three fold down sofas for seating and three pedestal tables to create work space when needed. A 24" storage bench serves as a cafe style bench seat with a work surface that is also included in this area as well. For additional storage space, a 24"aluminum full height closet has been installed. Three custom shelving units with a fixed shelf and four adjustable shelves provide storage that can be easily reconfigured to the staff's needs.
