This new mobile command center was built for Hamilton County Public Health of Ohio. The new command center is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and features a CUMMINS B6 6.7L diesel engine with an Allison 2200HS automatic transmission. The all aluminum body has a setback curbside entry door as well as a rear door with custom flip down step. There is also a stainless steel handrail with integral angled assist which folds for transport. An automatic awning has also been installed on the curbside of the vehicle for shade. Extreme Duty body storage compartments have also been integrated into the body. A vehicle leveling system is also installed on the command center. Four perimeter IP cameras have been installed on the body and a standalone NVR 4TB digital video recorder captures the media.
The inside of the vehicle has a front work area with dual spider base task chairs. The fixed table has a laminate top for durability. A 24" LED TV monitor has also been installed. The center of the vehicle has another café style workstation with a spider base task chair. There is a work counter with custom aluminum cabinets and an electronics rack. A galley with microwave and refrigerator has also been included in the mobile command center. We also included a custom tablet holder on the counter. A gear storage closet has also been included. The rear work room has a stowable conference table and fixed bench seating with underseat storage.
An Onan Commercial Quiet diesel generator supplies the electric power to the vehicle. Full vehicle surge protection has been installed to protect the vehicle's electrical systems. Dual low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat keep the interior cool. Twin wall mounted electric heaters have also been installed.
