These two identical mobile command vehicles were just completed for the Georgia Department of Public Safety. Built on Freightliner M2 106 conventional cab chassis, the command vehicles feature a single rear axle with CUMMINS B6.7L 300HP diesel engines and Allison 2500 EVS automatic transmissions. We in-house fabricated two flat floor slide-outs to maximize the available interior space. Extreme duty body storage compartments were installed for additional gear storage. Our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system is installed in each truck to simply the deployment of the vehicles on scene. Rear mounted telescoping pneumatic masts with dome network IP camera equipment have also been installed. The vehicles are equipped with an automatic leveling system also. Pull out aluminum stairs provide easy access into the vehicles. A Will-Burt Night Scan light tower is installed on the roof of each vehicle. A weatherproof exterior workstation houses a large high resolution monitor.
Inside, the mobile command centers feature a front conference room with center table and spider base task chairs. There are three workstations in each as well. The front wall features a 43" touch screen monitor and dual 32" display monitors. Custom aluminum cabinetry is installed for interior storage. Overhead cabinets have dry erase writing surfaces. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are also included. Flip down bench seating is included for additional staff members when needed. Dual electronics racks in each vehicle have been installed to accommodate future expansion needs. There is a galley with microwave and refrigerator in each truck as well. Magnetic closure pocket doors (2) provide privacy.
The rear work room in each vehicle features four workstations with high resolution display monitors for each. Additional cabinetry is included.
HVAC duties are handled by four low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat. Wall mounted electric heaters are also installed. A full vehicle surge suppression system protects the vehicle systems. Complete emergency lighting and siren packages have been installed on each truck along with bright LED scene lighting.
