Gary Lischinsky chose LDV to create his new 20ft. tool truck! The Freightliner MT-55 features a 6.0L 308 HP gas engine, 2200HS Allison automatic transmission with park pawl, and hydraulic brakes.
Gary chose to incorporate ColorCore throughout his tool truck including in the L-shaped workstation, single repair stack, 5-shelf display, and additional shelving. His workstation includes a 24" wide drawer stack, stainless laminate countertop, a monitor, shelf under the desktop, and a wastebasket. On the side of his workstation, Gary chose to integrate a 2.6 cu. ft. glass front fridge with a red "S" logo. Slatwall provides a space at the workstation for diagnostic cradles.
The single repair stack is 24" wide and features a stainless steep top, 5 drawers, a broken tools drawer and a carpeted hammer rack. Multiple displays mounted on e-track have been added to the tool truck, including a cordless power tool display, torque wrench display, and wall-mounted sunglasses display. For durability, Loncoin flooring has been utilized throughout the tool truck. On the rear door, the jack display has been added.
A 7.0KW 120 V gas generator supplies electric power to the vehicle when needed. The 2,000lb. all-aluminum lift gate can be used in conjunction with the rear swing door for loading and unloading heavy inventory. Handling HVAC is a 110 volt 13,500 BTU roof top A/C unit and a 12,000 BTU gas fired furnace. Keeping the vehicle safe while parked is an alarm system and interior DVR camera system. To assist with parking duties, a color backup camera has been mounted on an offset bracket for visibility around the lift gate.
