Fresno County Sheriff (CA) Mobile Command Center

Built on a Ford F550 4X2 diesel chassis, the Fresno County Sheriff mobile command vehicle is loaded with features. We fabricated and installed a weatherproof exterior workstation with 43" TV/monitor, direct HDMI inputs, dual USB/12V charging ports and a flip-down work surface. The vehicle also has both curbside and rear entry doors. The rear features a custom fabricated flip-down aluminum step. We installed a curbside awning as well. The vehicle also features bright LED scene lights on the exterior. We integrated 4 network IP cameras to the exterior of the vehicle as well (rear view, front view, street side, curb side).

Inside the cab area you will find a custom fabricated center console that houses their communications radios. A color back-up camera system was also integrated to the interior. There is also an integral intercom system for communicating with deputies in the rear of the vehicle.

Once inside, there are two workstations each equipped with 27" Apple® iMac computers. Laminate counter tops are used throughout for durability. There is a small galley with refrigerator. Custom fabricated aluminum cabinets with LED under cabinet lighting provide ample gear storage inside the vehicle. Overhead cabinets feature dry erase surfaces. The rear of the vehicle features a conference and collaboration room complete with stowable table, fixed bench seating and a pocket door. A 43" LED TV is mounted to the front wall of the interior. There is also an interior IP camera and microphone system for audio/video recording and monitoring. The interior is wired with CAT6 network wiring and jacks as well. A multi-function printer was also included on a slide-out tray.

HVAC duties are handled by a ducted low profile rooftop air conditioner with thermostat and dual wall-mounted electric heaters. Electric power to the vehicle is supplied by an Onan Commercial diesel 8kW generator mounted in a custom fabricated generator housing. The entire AC electrical system is protected by a surge suppression system.
