Fort Collins Police Services Crash Emergency Response Vehicle

This 26' overall length vehicle is built on a Ford F59 with an all aluminum body construction. Exterior features include an exterior roll up equipment access door streetside and an awning for providing cover curbside. Features include: two remote operated command lights, ample interior shelving for storage, a large workstation in the front and conference table with bench seating in the center and storage and exterior access in the rear.

There is a custom fabricated cone storage compartment for convenient access on scene. A color back-up camera system aids parking the vehicle in congested areas. A low-profile rooftop A/C unit with wall-mounted thermostat keeps the interior cool in the summer months. Dual wall mounted electric heaters handle the heating duties. A 15-kW  liquid-cooled gasoline generator supplies electric power and is housed within a custom fabricated aluminum compartment.

A complete emergency lighting and siren package was also integrated into the vehicle. This crash response vehicle is well equipped to manage any crash scene.
