Florida Power and Light Mobile Command Center

This recently completed mobile command center for Florida Power and Light features an International MV chassis, all aluminum body construction and dual LDV-fabricated flat floor slide outs for maximum interior workspace. We integrated an exterior workstation into the curbside slide out which houses a 55" SunBrite Signature 2 outdoor LED HDR 4K monitor. Our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system has been installed to deploy the vehicle quickly. A non-locking rear telescoping mast was also installed on the vehicle with perimeter surveillance camera equipment. A front flag mount has been added to the front bumper as well. The vehicle is also equipped with a leveling system. Entry into the vehicle is with pull out aluminum stairs in a cassette built into the body. We also included Extreme Duty body storage compartments for additional storage. A rooftop ladder is also included. Inside, the mobile command center has a front conference room with six workstations as well. The conference Spider base task chairs (8) are included. The front wall has a 50" planar display monitor with touch overlay. 24" high resolution display monitors are wall mounted in each slide out. Custom aluminum cabinetry with LED under cabinet lighting is installed for gear storage. The center of the vehicle features dual electronics racks, a multi-function printer on a slide out tray and magnetic surface dry erase white boards. The galley has a sink with pressurized water supply. A microwave, Keurig™ coffee maker and small refrigerator is included for staff convenience. Counter tops are solid surface throughout. HVAC duties are handled by three low profile rooftop A/C units and two electric wall heaters. A powerful 25kW liquid-cooled diesel generator supplies plenty of electric power to the vehicle. Vehicle electronics are protected by a full vehicle surge suppression system. Tiger Foam insulation has been installed between the floor and gen compartment to reduce noise and vibration in the interior.
