Florida Highway Patrol just took delivery of two new mobile command centers. These trucks are built on Ford F59 chassis with 7.3L V8 engines with TorqShift 6-speed automatic transmissions with overdrive. The custom aluminum dry van body features our Extreme Duty body storage compartments for additional gear storage. A complete emergency lighting and siren package has also been installed. Bright LED scene lights are also installed. Entry into the vehicle is via sliding curbside door or rear entry with custom aluminum flip down step on the bumper.
Interior layout of each mobile command center features a front conference room with fixed table and bench seat with flip down seating for additional staff members. Two 50" LED display monitors have been installed on each conference room wall. The center of the vehicle has a galley with microwave, refrigerator and Keurig® coffee maker. Counter tops are durable laminate. Custom fabricated aluminum gear storage cabinets are also included. There is also a small electronics rack. The rear of the interior is a workroom with seating for four staff members. Four spider base task chairs are included. The rear workroom has a 32" QLED monitor between the workstations. An HDMI matrix switch allows any number of video sources to be displayed on the monitors.
A powerful 15kW liquid-cooled gasoline generator supplies the electric power in each mobile command center. A full vehicle surge suppression system is also included to protect the installed electronic equipment.
HVAC duties are handled by dual low profile rooftop A/C units with wall thermostat and two wall mount electric heaters. The vehicle is prewired and provisions have been made for a future mast installation. Communications radios are also prewired in the vehicle. CAT6 network wiring and jacks are utilized throughout.
