Elk Grove Village Fire Department Dive Truck

The Elk Grove Fire Department chose a Ford F-550 XL 4x4 SD Crew Cab for their dive truck platform. This truck was designed to respond to on and off-road conditions for water rescue calls and can be easily staged at the water's edge to provide personnel with equipment and surface-supplied air for the divers. A large crew cab area provides room to seat and belt (5) responders and a custom-fabricated center console. Quick raise light poles with spot/flood scene lights illuminate the area staff will be working in. Roll-up doors offer quick and easy access to the equipment in more confined response areas.

The roof is made of diamond tread plate non-skid surface with (6) tie downs and cargo netting to transport an inflatable boat if need be. Multiple storage compartments with adjustable box pan shelves are finished off with satin anodized aluminum roll-up doors. Dual awnings provide coverage over the storage compartments for those accessing equipment.
