Dustin Cole’s 26ft. Kenworth T380 Tool Truck
This new 26ft. tool truck is built on a Kenworth T380 wide cab with a PACCAR PX-9 engine and Allison 3000 HS transmission. The all-aluminum construction also features a setback door with a fixed window, air brakes, air suspension, 7″ chrome exhaust stacks with short 30 tips, and an aluminum weather resistant storage box. A single rear swing door and a 2,000lb. all-aluminum lift gate assist with loading and unloading of heavy inventory.
Inside, a walk through from the cab to the store area features a sliding lockable bulkhead door to keep the store area secure when the vehicle is not in use. Zinc coated e-track is used in tool storage areas as well as throughout the rest of the vehicle. ColorCore faced shelves can be found throughout the vehicle as well including promo shelves, LDV’s 5-shelf interior, the L-shaped workstation, and 22″ wide single repair stack. Displays found in the tool truck include an oak hand cleaner display, black socket center, pry bar display, air tool ladder, slatwall air tool displays, diagnostic cradles, and two ABS literature racks. Two power tool sliding drawers also adds to the displays inside.
Convenience items inside include a 1.7 cu.ft. dual voltage refrigerator and microwave. An interior DVR camera system keeps the vehicle secure when not in use. Assisting with parking duties is a color back-up camera system. For HVAC needs, a 53,000 BTU engine driven air conditioner, a 15,000 BTU roof top air conditioner, and 65,000 BTU hot water heater help to keep things comfortable in any climate.
