DTE Energy had us build their latest mobile command center. The unit is built on a Freightliner M2 chassis and features four flat-floor slide-out rooms for maximum interior space, conference room area, interior and exterior workstations, custom fabricated aluminum cabinets, galley kitchen complete with microwave and refrigerator, Wilsonart countertops throughout, three diesel-fired furnaces and a 25kW generator. Two LDV Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system control screens handle deployment of the unit.

The vehicle also features a telescoping Night Scan Powerlight mounted on the roof along with a LED tripod light for illuminating the surroundings after dark. On the rear of the truck is a heavy-duty non-locking telescoping pneumatic mast with dome perimeter camera. On the exterior of the truck, two weatherproof housings with flip-down workstations are home to LED monitors, HDMI jacks, power outlets and more.
